Our beloved Graycliff has been deemed to be the Building of the Month ---- in Great Britain by the British Twentieth Century Society. A terrific article appears in their blog written by Stuart McKenzie. It is linked below.
While reading you might note that he visited Graycliff on tour this summer. He also somehow decided the heat hut was on the beach. The British also refer to the first floor as the ground floor and the second floor as the first floor because it is the first floor above the ground floor. Other than those two slightly confusing issues he has written exceedingly well about the house and shows a true understanding of Wright's organic design concepts.
